The grillmaster, or at least griller; Awards ceremony - and the winner of the purse this year is... the dude with the nice red purse on his chest: Mick!
Prizes are chosen carefully each year and recently have to do with a contribution to the charity of each winner's choice.
In early years, high quality prizes were awarded, but often times scorned by winners. Winner's jackets, trophies, valuable purses and the like were ridiculed.
Beginning in 2019 contributions to charity became the prize of choice, seemingly acceptable to all.
The 2024 prizes will be a donation to the Kevin Donovan ALS Foundation This will be a record setting donation for the BMI with the amounts announced at the Awards Ceremony.
Entry fees are not charged, nor or any appearance fees paid. If Tiger, Jordan, JT or whomever want to come play, they need an invitation just like all other players.
This is a straight up, no corners cut tournament for crying out loud!
